Everything you need all under one roof
Whether you need a large shop space for work or for play, the "how's" and "where's" of adding living space to that structure, JK Construction has the experience to work through all of those questions and more to be able to create your space just the way you want and need it to be.
Why not combine them both into one structure instead of two separate buildings? This idea can dramatically reduce your overall building cost and bring everything you need all under one roof.
An inviting environment
The picture on the top of this page features the front of the Barndominium with wooden siding and rusty metal wainscot and roofing. The siding is made from custom-milled Douglas Fir and Spruce in varying widths and stained to maintain the longevity of the material.
The lower half of this structure is shop space, while the second story is all living space. And the picture in this section is the area where the shop and living space meet at the front door entryway. Take the hallway, and you will find the shop. Take the stairs up, and you will find the home.
Customized To Your Needs
In the pictures that follow, we show the first look into the living space at the top of the stairs by walking into the kitchen and then the living room. The open floor plan creates an inviting space and maximizes the sunlight and gorgeous mountain views from the windows.
Next, we exhibit the two bathrooms located upstairs. This Barndominium features these two main bathrooms upstairs with a half bath located downstairs in the shop area.
Unique & Individual Spaces
As the living quarters are upstairs, having the laundry room on the same level was important and an added convenience for this family. The floorplan of this home was designed to maximize the functionality of the upstairs while also showcasing some of the supporting elements of the home.
